What the AI can help with
- Find the last time you logged a position or technique.
- Summarize repeated observations across selected journal entries.
- Keep a coach's note labeled as a coach's note.
- Turn a reviewed lesson or coach assignment into one saved mission.
- Show when the available record does not support a confident answer.
What it should not pretend to know
A language model does not become a qualified jiu-jitsu coach because it can name techniques. Jits does not claim a belt rank, coaching career, or competitive record. It does not treat a training log as proof that a grip, timing detail, finish, or safety decision is correct.
Consent before context
AI features remain off until the athlete grants data-sharing consent. The server checks that consent for each analysis boundary. Marketing analytics never receives journal text, partner names, injury content, or prompts.
Questions that produce useful answers
Ask about your record: “When did I last mention mount escapes?” “Which positions appeared in my last five sessions?” “What did my coach ask me to revisit?” These prompts invite retrieval and organization. For technical mechanics, ask Jits to collect the relevant record and help you prepare a precise question for your coach.
From answer to action
The result should end in a small decision. Save one reviewed lesson, one coach-assigned drill, or one question to take to class. Your journal stays available even when you do not use AI.
